A specialized manufacturer of EKOFA series flexographic printing presses
Printing on various packaging paper materials
Common packaging paper materials + corresponding suitable printing equipment + actual application scenarios
I. White Cardstock / White Base, White / Coated White Cardstock
(gift boxes, tote bags, medicine boxes, cosmetic boxes, cigarette packs, wine boxes)
Suitable for printing:
Sheetfed offset press → Fine patterns, excellent color reproduction, the top choice for high-end applications
Customizable options: gold foil stamping, UV coating, embossing, and lamination.
Features:
With a smooth surface and uniform ink absorption, it is ideal for complex graphics and text, making it the primary paper stock for premium packaging.
II. Kraft Paper / Kraft Cardboard / Recycled Kraft Paper
(Courier bags, takeout bags, food paper bags, tote bags, packaging bags)
Suitable for printing:
Roll-to-roll flexographic printing press → Large-scale production, high speed, water-based inks
Offset printing → Mid-to-high-end kraft paper tote bags
Features:
It is highly resilient and relatively coarse, making it unsuitable for extremely fine halftone dots; flexographic printing is the most cost-effective.
III. Corrugated Paper / Corrugated Cardboard
(Carton boxes, takeout food containers, delivery boxes, heavy-duty packaging)
Suitable for printing:
Water-based ink flexographic printer (carton printing and slotting machine)
Pre-printing: Gravure or flexographic printing is used to print the face paper first, followed by laminating it onto the corrugated board.
Features:
The surface is rough, so it’s only suitable for simple text, logos, and solid color blocks; it’s not ideal for high-resolution images.
IV. Coated Paper / Matte Art Paper
(Albums, gift box covers, labels, hangtags, high-end paper boxes)
Suitable for printing:
Sheetfed offset press → Vibrant colors and highest clarity
Features:
Smooth surface and excellent dot reproduction—essential for high-end graphics and text.
